I spend time painting in oils when I get the chance. I recently ran across the site Different Strokes from Different Folks, where Karin Jurick posts a weekly source image ( photo ) and invites artists and those working at becoming artists to offer their view of the subject for posting. It's pretty facinating to see how one source can be interpreted in so many ways.
It prompted me to start this blog, take a few photo's of my oil painting attempts and post them here.
I hope you enjoy viewing them and that perhaps you'll leave a comment or a helpful critique.
